Air Force Careers

After receiving your commission as a Second Lieutenant in the Air Force, there are career opportunities in a variety of Air Force specialties available to you. Men and women who can meet the stringent demands of pilot or navigator training may command the aerospace forces of the future. The complexity of modern aviation, space technology, communications systems, and computer networks generates a critical need for first-rate engineers, scientists and computer scientists. Officers are also needed in many other positions such as intelligence, space and missile operations, communications, and aircraft maintenance.  Those who ready for additional challenges may apply for Combat Rescue and Special Tactics Officer positions.
